• Illustrating Carlution’s role as a bridge between the dealership and the end customer

Initial Situation & Challenge: A sales service model that requires explanation

Carlution helps car dealerships target their customers more effectively and guide them through the entire process. The real added value arises precisely from this interaction—between the dealership, the customer, and Carlution’s services. The challenge was to make this interaction understandable to the sales team. Dealerships needed to recognize exactly where Carlution comes into play, what specific tasks it handles, and how this impacts day-to-day operations. In conversations, this often remained abstract: the service was there, but hard to grasp. There was no clear picture of how the dealership could reach customers—and how to clearly define and highlight Carlution’s important role.

The solution: The customer immediately recognizes the added value

The Big Picture clearly illustrates this process. On the left are the car dealerships; on the right are their customers. Carlution is the connecting link in the process, drawing potential customers’ attention to the dealership and increasing incentives for customers to make a purchase. Carlution ensures that car dealerships can better reach their customers through various channels to increase their sales—such as websites, social media campaigns, or traditional channels like billboards and radio ads. By listing all these services in the Big Picture, it becomes clear at a glance exactly where Carlution provides concrete support. The services are no longer described in abstract terms but are visualized in their interplay. For sales, this means: less explaining, more demonstrating. Conversations no longer start with individual measures, but with an overall understanding.

Individual scenes

A man is sitting on the couch, holding the remote control, watching a commercial for a red car on the big screen.
The potential customer
Targeted advertisements generate interest: customers become aware of offers, explore vehicle options, and develop a concrete desire to purchase. This creates the impulse to visit the dealership and learn more in person.

Visit to the car dealership
Engaging customers through various channels creates a concrete desire to purchase: customers are motivated, engage more deeply with the offer, and decide to take the next step. This leads them to the dealership, where the purchase is ultimately completed.

The satisfied customer
The end result is a satisfied customer who has found the right vehicle. This positive experience extends beyond the purchase—through ongoing communication, personalized service, and a long-term relationship with the dealership.

This is how the big picture came about

In this project, Carlution’s range of services was translated into a clear, sales-oriented visual concept. The goal was to illustrate the interaction between the dealership, the customer, and the service in a way that is immediately understandable during a conversation. At the kick-off meeting with Carlution, these very topics were first discussed together with Big Pictury. This enabled Big Pictury to develop drafts that were refined into the final Big Picture over the course of the project.
1. Content & Structure
During the initial meetings with the key contacts, we identified how Carlution supports car dealerships and at which touchpoints customers are engaged.
2. Iteration & Optimization
The thematic areas were translated into a simple, easy-to-understand design. The focus was on clearly articulating the logic behind the offering and distilling it down to its essence.
3. Feedback & Finalization
In subsequent revisions, the Big Picture was adapted to Carlution’s corporate design, and the scenes and text were finalized so that it can now be used in marketing.

Effect & Results

The Big Picture is a key sales tool at Carlution that helps make Carlution’s offers easy for dealerships to understand. It provides an overview of the relationship between the dealership, the customer, and Carlution’s offer, making conversations with Carlution’s customers more structured and concise. It also ensures consistent external communication and clearly highlights the added value for dealerships.

“A significantly better structure”

“We knew that our range of services offered real value to car dealerships—but our sales team often struggled to communicate this clearly and consistently. Everyone had their own way of explaining Carlution, and that’s exactly what made conversations unnecessarily complicated. With the Big Picture, we now have a common foundation. It shows at a glance how we bring car dealerships and customers together and where we provide concrete support. This helps our conversation partners understand more quickly what it’s all about and what benefits we offer. For us, this means: less explaining, more clarity in conversations, and a significantly better structure in sales."
