FASTPLANET (from Consberry GmbH) is an innovative software solution for the telecommunications industry that efficiently and digitally controls the entire network expansion process. From planning and sales to expansion and customer service, FASTPLANET connects all relevant players and provides a central platform for data management. This enables the company to implement fiber optic connections transparently, quickly, and cost-effectively.
The challenge was to communicate this complex business model in an understandable way. Different stakeholders—from network operators and project partners to customers—should be able to quickly recognize how the platform works and what added value it offers for the entire network expansion.
The solution: Visual networking of fiber optic expansion
Together with FASTPLANET, we developed a detailed big picture that depicts the company's entire value chain in a clearly structured and easy-to-understand graphic. The image shows the central processes of network expansion—from management and project planning to expansion and customer service—and illustrates how Fastplanet connects all players as the "point of truth."
Individual scenes
The scene shows how planners use FASTPLANET to access current address and network data as well as information on existing networks. This allows expansion areas to be evaluated more quickly, plans to be coordinated, and costs to be estimated realistically.
The "Customer Service" scene illustrates how up-to-date information on the status of expansion projects and the availability of service at individual addresses helps to quickly check customer inquiries and provide reliable information.
FASTPLANET also serves as a central source of information for all parties involved during the expansion. Construction and project teams can view current infrastructure and project data here and transparently document the progress of the network expansion.
This is how the big picture came about
We developed the big picture together with our contacts at FASTPLANET in an iterative process. The aim was to clearly structure the most important processes involved in fiber optic expansion and present them in an understandable visual logic.
1. Analysis & Structuring
In joint consultations with FASTPLANET, the key process steps for network expansion were compiled and structured.
2. Design & Iteration
Based on the analysis, an initial draft of the big picture was created. In several rounds of iteration, the scenes and texts were adapted, supplemented, and optimized.
3. Feedback & Finalization
After the final vote, the big picture was finalized and a package of cutouts was also provided so that individual scenes could be used flexibly.

The big picture is used flexibly for various sales channels, such as on the company's homepage, in presentations, or in marketing materials. It helps FASTPLANET explain its business model and platform logic clearly and comprehensively.
